Financing

If financing is needed for a new or existing Erie County employer, the Economic Development Team for Erie County will work with the company to review the proposed financing project, assess the company’s characteristics, and recommend financing alternatives utilizing state and local financing programs, as well as bank financing options, that they may be eligible to apply for. Many of the available programs can be packaged to work in conjunction with each other, however each has its own specific requirements and restrictions. Therefore, the first step should always be to contact a member of the Economic Development Team so that a complete assessment can be performed to determine which programs you may be eligible to apply for.

Incentives

Various incentives may be available to your company for your expansion or relocation project. Most of these incentives are based on the level of private investment, number of jobs created and/or retained, and the wage level of those jobs. The information below is intended to be a general overview of the various programs.
