(SBF) Small Business First

Small Business First (SBF): Funding for small businesses including low-interest loan financing for land and building acquisition and construction, machinery and equipment purchases, and working capital.
Small businesses (under 100 employees) in the manufacturing, industrial, export-related, advanced technology and computer-related services industries are eligible to apply for loans up to $200,000 or 50% of the total eligible project costs, whichever is less. Loans for working capital are limited to $100,000. Loan terms vary from 3 years for working capital to 10 years for land and buildings. Rates are currently at 5%. Loans are secured by the highest lien position available on the asset to be financed; personal guarantees may also be required. For more information, contact:
